The Groundbreaking Ceremony for our new church was held March 29, 2009. With shovels in hand and lead by Father Bill, all parish members were invited to line the perimeter of the new church and break ground. The ceremony included prayer, song and hearing the old church bell ring for the first time in over 30 years. After the ceremony, the parish gathered for a celebratory dinner.

Please view the photos albums to the right from our Groundbreaking Ceremony. Click on any photo to enlarge it, click again to return the photo to the album.

Keep an eye on this section of our web site. We want everyone to be able to watch the progress of our new church as it is being built!
To the right,
you will see a page entitled Construction Progress where you will find a link to the builders page so you can track the progress of the church's construction.

Do you have photos you would like to add to the web site? Contact the webmaster or send them to St Bernadette School on CD in care of the webmaster. This is something the entire parish is celebrating and we want everyone to feel that they are involved in the building of Our New Church!
